The formation of asca
ASCA is a 100% Black Owned Corporation with 100% women ownership. It was established in 2004, as Sole Proprietorship and later converted into a cc, out of a burning desire to contribute to the evolution of our democratic and increasingly globally competitive society.
The founder is a South African who possesses various qualifications and broad knowledge of consultancy services, with specialization in Corporate Governance, and is a certified Chartered Director with the Institute of Directors Southern Africa( IoDSA).
The corporation is very rich in experience in its field of business both at provincial and national level, especially through its founder member. The corporation contracts individuals of a calibre who bring own expertise which puts the corporation in a high level in the performance of any commissioned services.
why was asca formed
The South African market provides unique opportunity to forward thinking, creative people who are action orientated to participate in the significant changes taking place at present .The driving forces behind these changes include:
- The reforms taking place in the country , driven by political policies and manifestos
- The restructuring of business to recognise the changing socio-political situation in the country, the need to address past imbalances in employment opportunities and ownership, and to enhance competitiveness in a global world.
The corporation aims to contribute to the alleviation of poverty in the country through job creation, skills development and empowerment of both rural and urban-based people, in particular women.
